In case of a DD, a scan copy of letter from clients Bank on the Banks original letter head, stating the account number and account name from where the DD is issued must be uploaded in money payin. Alternatively, scan copy of bank passbook reflecting the entry of amount debited for DD along with the counter slip for DD can also be uploaded. Money pay-in is mandatory.
Note: DD against Cash is not accepted at MOSL. Moreover, a penalty of 5% is levied if the amount is < Rs.25000 or 10% if the amount is > Rs 25000.
DD against cheque is accepted provided; a scan copy of letter from clients Bank on the original bank's letter head stating the client name and the bank account number from where the DD is issued needs to be uploaded in money payin; and the same should match with the client's bank details as updated in the back office.
Direct cash deposit in MOSL bank account is strictly prohibited. Moreover, for any such instances, a penalty of 33.33% on cash amount deposited will be levied by MOSL.
