What is Deactivation of an account or Account closure request?

Account closure request refers to a request received by a Client to willingly close the Account. Closure form should be completely filled in with a reason of closure and duly signed where required. Closure form can be downloaded from:

Biz-Ops > Information > Downloads > Closure Form Version 1.4 (21st May 2011),

Client’s DP account as well as the Trading account needs to be closed. Ensure that all balances in Client’s accounts have been cleared. Deactivation request needs to be punched in:

Biz-Ops --->Request---> Account Opening ---> Account Deactivation.

Also, the request has to be punched in HITS as the closure form needs to send to HO to process the closure.
