What is Transposition-cum-Dematerialization?


For the Dematerialization of physical shares the name of  holder(s) on the certificate as well as

in the Demat account should be the same and also in same  sequence. In  event  of  change in

the  sequence  of  the  name  of  the  holders,  the  shares  can  be  dematerialized  provided a

Transposition form duly filled and signed by all the holders  is  submitted along with the DRF.

This is called the Transposition-cum-Dematerialization.
