Can a joint Holder in a bank provide the Bank Statement as an address proof for to open the Account?

No, the person opening an account should be the first holder in the bank if he is submitting the bank statement as an address proof. The proof in name of spouse is accepted if supported by relevant document (passport/ marriage certificate/ Driving license/ Voter ID) OR name is specified in KYC in place of spouse name.
