SEBI Orders consists of a) PAN Based Orders b) Name Based Orders. Please find below process to activate clients in case of both the scenarios.
a) PAN Based Orders - If SEBI has clearly specified Pan/DIN of the entity in the order passed. Such client identified based on the PAN/DIN Number provided, CANNOT be activated to deal in securities market.
b) Name Based Orders -In case of Name based order, SEBI gives only the name of the persons, in such scenario, we identify all such persons with identical name and we debar such clients at our end. Upon submitting the “Undertaking” by client. Client can be activated. Detailed process to activate the clients is mentioned in Circular 2016 “Suspension of clients debarred by SEBI (Name Based)” dated 9th May 2016. You are requested to refer to the same.
